Wanted Mark III's with Vibram Sole

Do you already have some Mk IIIs?

If you do, just go to the nearest reputable Cobbler and have them put on some Vibram soles.   That is how the CF is doing it, through local Cobblers via Base Clothing.   You need a Medical Chit from your MO to be issued them.

It'll cost you approx $75 per pr.

Got the chit, a new pair of the Mark III's, and unfortunately a stubborn case of Achilles tendonitis to go along with them - - that's why I was looking for a nice worn-in pair with the vibram.

As you suggest, in the end it may come down to paying the $75 and working in the boots manually before wearing them again.
