My name is Jennifer and I'm a Ryerson journalist in Toronto, Ontario. I'm doing a radio documentary on U.S. war resisters seeking refuge in Canada, and I'm looking to interview someone in the Greater Toronto Area -- preferably someone who is either a veteran or is currently in the Canadian Armed Forces and has served in Afghanistan. I already have plenty of folks who can argue that U.S. war resisters should be given asylum in Canada -- now I need someone who can tell me why they shouldn't be given asylum, and why deserting is totally wrong.
