Your explanation of the causes of feelings of suicide is simple-minded.

Those Belgian soldiers paid for the sins of their parents‘ and grand-parents‘ generations,
when Belgium was the colonial ruler, and left its colonies in Africa in the worst shape of
any of the colonies as far as democracy, and institutions for legislative, judicial, and executive
governance.

Further, those soldiers were armed, they lay down their arms in hopes of negotiating their
way out of a very bad situation. It was an error that cost them their lives. Arguably the
Sgt there should have ordered them to fire fully-auto. Easy to see in hind-sight, they tried
the more humanitarian approach, trusting in human nature, and not realising the depth of
hatred for representatives of European powers.

Gen Dallaire should have stopped, argued for the release of ten armed soldiers, delayed
meeting militia leaders who were responsible for the armed build-up, political agitation,
and frenzy of murder of 800,000 that was on-going at the time? Why? Because those
soldiers were white?

I think you need to hit the books, boy.
