When does the pay start?

I dont know if i'm in the right area or not this is new to me ive done a search and havent found my answer either my question is this when accepted into the army does pay begin right away when you leave for training or does it start afterwards?

Your pay starts when your training starts.  After you enrol there may be a short period of "Leave Without Pay"  that covers the time between signature and first training date.

That, of course, doesn't necessarily address problems with pay accounts and bank accounts that must be in place.  Some of the members recently through St Jean can say how long it was before they saw their first money in the bank.
