Greetings Comrades in Arms!
I'm a US military vet who is a new owner of a Bombardier Iltis. I bought an Iltis to help honor my Northern Brothers fighting in the GWOT.  Being a former trigger puller, I'd like to mount a display weapon on my rig.    I was told there was a specific kit pictured and nomenclatured G-Pig Mounting Kit that was used on the Command and Recce variant Iltis.
I am also interested in the TOW variant G-Pig Pintle.
So far, my efforts to find even a detailed photo of the kit has been met with failure.

I am hoping the brilliant and resourceful members of this site will point me in the right direction.  I'd be willing to buy a kit or horse-trade for US kit or new Multicam Kit etc from my wholesale source.

Also, any photos of the kit in use would be appreciated.

There was never a G-Pig mount on the Iltis.  The last Jeep to have such a mount (Dog Leg) was pre-74 pattern Jeeps, probably the last being '63.  Later Jeeps and the Iltis did not have the support in the body to mount a G-Pig mount.

Initiative of various crews mounted the GPMG and Tripod across the Windshield or rollbars with whatever they could use to secure the tripod tightly.

There were TOW versions of the Iltis.  TOW mounts/pintles should be relatively easy for you to find in the US.

Did you come over from Lightfighter?

If so, welcome.

If not, welcome.

loachman,
Affirm.  A Bro on MapleLeafUp pointed me over here.  My Iltis is finally on the move from NJ to CO.  Trying to get my rig squared away for St Paddy's Day Parade here that MVCC rides in.
