I know they're ... original in their interpretation of how they fit into the existing legal frameworks, but I haven't seen/heard any of them call for violence/use of force to change government. Sounds like they figure they're outside of ANY government.

If not understanding how the legal system (or choosing to ignore it for your own "what colour is the sky in your world?" legal set-up) was a crime, 1) they wouldn't be alone in being guilty, and 2) FAFO.

Declaring yourself sovereign and the monarch of a country no matter how wrong you are is sedition.

Just the declaration that they are sovereign without a democratic process is a forcible government change even if they didn’t directly attack someone.

It appears that according to the CCC, force is a fundamental component of sedition:

Looks like police in Welland Ontario have a locally known SovCit type barricaded after he shot a cop who was attending with bylaw over a fence dispute. She’s in hospital and stable. Police have the building contained.

Fantastic work by Niagara Regional Police. They talked the guy down all night and finally got him in custody this morning with no further injury to anyone. Their officer is out of hospital, sounds like she’ll be fine.

@brihard Ill give you 3 examples, 2 historical one the latest.

1) Put up these on his property: (Free Mason)

2) Put up these on his property: (Porn)
- The police let these stay up. Said 2 words together mean nothing. 2 thugs from the hood came and had a chat with him, the signs came down.

3) This past Thursday I took the day off to winterize my lawnmowers and ATV. I was running my lawnmowers dry at noon. He came out walks to the end of my yard and and left. Cam back video tapped me, my yard and my house. I started tapping him he walked back to his yard, he doesn't like being filmed, sat in the muddy ground pretending to meditate. Gets up throws grass and leaves at the sun, yelled at the sun and the left.

I could make a thread an everything else that he's been up too...

I told the police officer that was here Thursday the same thing I told my councilor. Sooner or later Fairview will fix this if they don't step in. It wasn't a threat, I wont harm him unless he threatens/harms me or mine. But I know the neighborhood I live in.

He has obvious instability. He also doesn't like the police or city. Shut the door in the face of the inspector this time. If the cops come, he just goes out the opposite side of the house and walks or drives away. He is very into conspiracies. Used to ask me when I would come home from work what secrets I knew.

He's been summoned by the city to provide representation for different things, he never attends.

I will give the HRP some credit, the officer that was here Thursday was more sympathetic. She was appalled at the porn signs, said if it was a female cop who responded to that complaint it would have been handled differently.

My only saving grace is that I live in rougher part of Halifax, with some folks who live by their own creed. While they don't bother me, I married into the extended local royalty, they have taken notice of him.

As I said before, either the system has to step in and take care of this, or Fairview will. I have warned the police and the city.

He used to have a brother, niece and parents who would come around every so often. They don't anymore... I don't know how they can abandon him here...
