Trump Class Battleships?

An interesting Twitter thread I came across that examines the abilities and argues that a ship as described doesn’t make sense.

Gun boat diplomacy isn't about actually capacity... It's about the implication...

Yes, and we’re seeing what that looks like in the modern era in the southern Caribbean right now.

I don’t think this thing will ever get built. It does not appear aligned with the reality of what the U.S. act actually needs.

Wait. They cancelled DD(X) to build this? That’s nuts.

Agree. I think the closest it gets is a playable War Thunder model.

I have to believe this guy is as done as burned toast... Its just a matter of time...
There will be a lot of people going to jail after his term is up. The question is whether he pardons them all first…

Even then best to avoid international travel in the long term, the ICC might have something to say.

Good lord!😂🙄
I got a kick out of the trump decal overlooking the flight deck.

I'll bet he wants a hand designing the command suite. Lots of gold, maybe mirrors, and a big chair with a window.

That's a cycle the US system has to break; an administration spending much of its time trying to prosecute its predecessor. Admittedly, not doing criminal stuff in the first place would be a good start, but their weaponizing of the judicial system solves little.

Aside Trump, which executive has threatened and/or attempted to prosecute its political opponents? The Biden admin didn’t even hold Trump accountable for his attempted autogolpe.

How fast will there be an update to World of Warships? How much will the upgrade be for this class of warship?
