South Alberta Light Horse Regiment to amalgamate with larger reserve force

Iron rice bowl protection isn't limited to the Army Reserve.

Funny how the math always demands three regiments of three battalions each of regular force infantry.
It's kind of funny. In making my napkin army for "Unsustainable" while there is no reduction in RegF, they are distributed mostly in 30/70 structures which are based on ARes units. The RegF is reduced to three battalions of infantry and one each of armour and artillery. There are no second, much less third battalions. The whole aim behind that was to break up cabals based on "regimental families" and to create structures (tactical and administrative management) built on deployable formation-based hierarchies.

My dive into the army over the last four years of writing has made me quite wary or the existing power blocks there and the consequences of that. My guess is that there's a bit of that as well with the zoom boys in the air force (I worry that the RCAF looks at the 330s more as tankers than as transports) and maybe the navy.
