Realistically the only thing that's going to solve this is ending the war be it via a win, lose, or drop everything and go home.

An export ban on diesel wouldn't solve anything, the companies would just import less crude and thus refine a whole lot less. The US government has no way to force them to continue refining at current levels after a ban.

That would require the "N" word, nationalization.

And that is absolutely not going to happen especially with a Republican government lmao.
