Eritrea invades Ethiopia

Another war is really intensifying. The humanitarian crisis this could cause will make Syria look like a cake walk.

Cool. Six months of my life that was wasted.

Warfronts has a really good video about how this could possibly spill over into regional states. Give it a watch if you have a moment, its dark.

Apparently the ex-commander of the Tigray forces that fought the government forces previously and was respected as competent commander opposes the rebel attacks on government forces. Even some of the 7 supposed groups opposing the government were a unaware that they were supposed to be providing forces to attack the government. Seems like this particular stage of the conflict is not as wanted as some might have hoped. Hopefully war fatigue is setting in and someone can get an agreement to stop the shooting.

Spent six months deployed there with UNMEE in 2000/2001. Setting up a separation zone between them after a war.
Nothing changes.

Sorry to hear that man. A few buddies from my unit have the same sentiment with Kandahar. All you can do is be proud of your service at the time and the good you did on the ground at the time.
