Is it possible to join a law enforcement eod team after a career as a combat engineer?
What you do for others lasts forever!

Most law enforcement EOD teams recruit from their existing police officers, so you would need to get into a police service first and spend several years on general duty. But yes, it's certainly possible with the right drive, motivation, and patience.
Pacificsm is doctrine fostered by a delusional minority and by the media, which holds forth the proposition it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Police services generally make CF members do a couple years as a beat cop before taking them onto their specialist teams - even for qualified and experienced CF divers and bombtechs. Even then, they have to take and pass the police equivalent course.

99% of Cbt Engr do not have any transferable EOD skillsets to police EOD teams.
