Canadian modular assault rifle project, a C7 replacement?

I was wondering the same thing. Is this still a DI action, or has Colt moved to a piston driven action like HK?

    Canadian River Class Destroyer Megathread

Meanwhile, LM seems to be meeting delivery timelines for the SPY7 arrays in Japan, so it seems this program has reached maturity, which should bode well for our program...

    Canadian River Class Destroyer Megathread

My comment was aimed towards the River class, not the Hunter. I still find it puzzling that there is no design margin for an additional 8 cells. Publicly available information puts the weight of an 8-cell Mk41 VLS strike length module around 32000 lbs. Assuming those cells were loaded with 8...

    CH-148 Cyclone Progress

    CH-148 Cyclone Progress

I'd favour the AW149 personally. Even over the Blackhawk. It was purpose designed for military ops. With Leonardo establishing a line at IMP in Halifax to work on the CH149, they may even be able to assemble it in Canada... The biggest advantage to the H175 is it uses PWC PT-6 engines.

And yet, even with that, they somehow managed to incorporate 32 VLS cells.

The RCAF's Next Generation Fighter (CF-188 Replacement)

Nope. Northrop-Grumman. It appears this is related to the new APG-85, which I'm not even sure Canada is getting in the first 16 (if ever). https://www.twz.com/air/are-f-35s-being-delivered-to-the-usaf-without-radars-sure-seems-like-it The problem appears to be that the bracket/bulkhead being...
