I am currently a sig op in the communications branch, but I am thinking about switching over to the armoured side.  The armoured trade was not an option for me when I joined up because it simply wasn't a unit in my hometown, but I am moving to a new city for university next year, and it happens...

I didn't mind my few months in Shilo at all, but I'm sure I'd be less optimistic if I were stationed there or something.  I also grew up in a similar terrain so I guess that helps.

I guess I should've asked a more direct question, but yea I was looking into ROTP, seeing as how I don't have my degree yet, but that would raise many conflicting issues between civi university and a reg force job.  Can it work?

I asked a while ago about reservist pilots, and reconfirmed that new pilots were pretty much reg force only, while reserve pilots were already-trained pilots.  However, I have read about people training with the air force to become pilots...while theyre doing university? How would this be...
