cell phones, pda's and laptops are for after training hours only though. To be honest my cell phone via text messaging will be a good way to stay in touch when I can.

it says that I am allowed to bring electronic devices such as laptops, cell phones and things of that nature. Would you recommend something as elaborate as a laptop I mean will i even have that much time to use it?

I have not quite read through my "Joining Instructions Manual" but I will ask are you allowed to bring excess of what they require? I am referring to clothing.

So anyone else going on this one? What kind of weather should I expect from not till july?

Well after about a month and a half I received my call today :) Looks like I am headed to Gagetown for my BMQ on April 11th. I have been hired for infantry with the PPCLI. To be honest I am very excited and can't wait. Until then its workout, workout, fill out all these papers :P

You guys sure are lucky! I bet I just missed this BMQ by a few days.  Apparently now I have to wait a bit longer due to the CFs fiscal year coming to a close at the end of March,  they have met their numbers. Thats what the recruiting centre told me. Ahh well here's to waiting  ;) :cdn:

No kidding, he got 6 years for his assault. Wonder if being in the position he is (celebrity) they were trying to set a precendent?

Well on this past thursday February 22nd I had my doctor fill out my required forms due to some surgery. Went back to the recruiting office, dropped them off and now I sit and wait. lol..definatly filled with anticipation. I was told about 2-3 weeks probably..can't wait  :salute:
