I thought this was funny. The poster is accusing the person in the picture of stolen valour because they are wear the green CadPat rain jacket over the new uniform. Sadly this isn't the first time I've seen this. Consider that the MT rain jacket doesn't exist yet, I'll hold out on calling SVC.

I'm starting to feel that the whole purpose of the PRes is going to shift to solely training and maintaining the MRes.

I don't know how other brigades are doing, but with the current op tempo, we are basically at our LOE with instructors just to cover the courses we are running now. I can't image the staff that it would require to run 300,000 people through a five day training cycle each year.

So is the pattern changing again, or just the cut of the uniform?

I know my unit used to give the full time staff one day off to compensate for a weekend ex. I never got the math how working an extra two and a half days turns into compensation for one.

Are CIC officers more or less useful than public servants in this context?

The numbers for this don't really seem to add up. They are looking for 300,000 volunteers from the Federal Public Service, which according to AI is currently 358,000 with 40,000 layoffs coming. So that is basically everyone.
