I have a question to pose to someone who has lived in a PMQ in Edmonton. I am a young Reservist and am looking to CT to the Regs. My wife and I  are expecting a new baby this fall and have a 3 year old right now. Would the PMQ's be a suitable option for us to start with?

Will the next group after 10 Feb be depolyed to Afghanistan?

I am a new recruit to the CF and will be an infanteer with PPCLI. I heard that no more troops are being sent to Afghanistan. Is this true? Truthfully, if a tour wasn't part of my deal I probably wouldn't have joined...Train to fight and not get to fight, that to me is the least appealing aspect...

I kicked a stub of rebar at work the other day (should have wore my steel toes :P). My toe is purple and it kills to walk, let alone run. But hey, a little bump along the road makes things interesting ;) Watch now because I said that the car will break down en route to the airport and I'll miss...

Just want to say that again G2G and add that we can and should lean on each other in those times. For every dark night there's a bright day after, so keep your head up, stick your chest out-->and handle it :salute: We're all in this together.

i was just wondering because if 9 of us are there at the same time there is a free military transport to CFLRS.

Anybody know how to get to CFLRS from the airport or are we all following the joining instructions?

Personally I think it's a good idea for 2 reasons: a) It will not deter potential applicants based on previous fitness levels. I like the fact that CFLRS will be responsible for getting those who want to join up to par. A LOT of people need that kick in the butt. b) Largely because of a), it...

Infantry here. There are actually 3 of us coming up from Regina. Apparently we are supposed to do some last minute shopping for personal items before we get to St. Jean. I was also told that the baggage restrictions are 2 50 lb bags and one carry on. Do you guys know what time your flight(s)...
