OT to Geotech, MSC, rations and quarters

Recent change... geotech students (single privates) will no longer be housed in Algonquin College residence.

OT to Geotech, MSC, rations and quarters

Geotechs on course at Algonquin are posted to Ottawa.  At this time, only the unmarried Sappers are in the college residence.  I don't know of anyone on the course that came to Ottawa on IR.  There is one military couple not posted together, but I think the IR in that case is at the Petawawa end.

    Aerospace Control Officers-AEC [merged]

Yes, the last IFR course graduated 5 out of 15.  Some left the course in the first few weeks and others in the last few weeks.  Even if you survive the academic side of the course, you never know when something aptitude related will catch up with you.  Several of us are now looking at NCM...

Air Control Officer Vs Air Control Operator. What is the Difference?

The officers are responsible for controlling air traffic and the NCMs provide support.

    Tailoring... time's up?

    Awaiting the "offer"

If you are curious, then phone the recruiting centre to get a status update.  In my case, I never got "the call" because I beat them to it by about 45 minutes!  File manager was working on my file and about to phone me.  :D

I couldn't see my typing in my previous reply, but I am happy to say I can see clearly now.  Hopefully the fix was also applied to logging in (I'm not logged in forever) and anywhere else. Thanks!

    AEC streams

Thanks Aerospaced.  Not sure if that helps burkecross, but your comments give me another way of looking at the choice of streams ahead of me.  I'll take analytical video games, please, with a dash of creative  :D

    January 2010- BMOQ

Returning to the thread title... When is a Jan BMOQ typically filled?  I understand that "it depends" but when waiting for something, it's nice to know if there is a chance to make it or if that possibility has already passed.

Did you see the AEC Numbers thread?  I would guess that the numbers haven't changed much since that count was done.
