No matter what you think of Carney, at least we have an adult as PM. Too bad other countries still see the damage the man child did and just put up with what Canada thinks.

That alone is a big improvement. No matter what you think of Carney, at least we have an adult as PM. Too bad other countries still see the damage the man child did and just put up with what Canada thinks.

His handling of the Air Canada strike isn't a good look so far. He's had a few missteps that may bite him in the long run.Based on what? There's no signs point to that right now, and anyone think Pierre wouldn't take a huge win in BRC is on Crack. Though gotta credit and independent for getting 9.5%
I agree. Carney not doing anything or little is still a huge improvement over Trudeau driving Canada right into the ditchNo matter what you think of Carney, at least we have an adult as PM. Too bad other countries still see the damage the man child did and just put up with what Canada thinks.
I have a feeling he is gonna put this on Minister HadjuHis handling of the Air Canada strike isn't a good look so far. He's had a few missteps that may bite him in the long run.

I agree. It was me making peace with a very short term PM MC (who I had a lot more faith in just after the election)Not making it worse is setting the bar way to low.
We shouldnt accept anything less than improvement.
Being an adult is faint praise. There's plenty of adults who are nothing but narcissistic, self serving assholes. There's also a number of countries that are far from enamoured with Carney. Personally, I see little difference between carney and his puppet trudeau. No matter what you think of Carney, at least we have an adult as PM. Yup, wait until people find out how many billions he's spending and the alliances he's making on behalf ofNot making it worse is setting the bar way to low.

As always, let's remember that "what the membership wants" =/= "what the leader wants" =/= "what the leader'll do."
True dat - the high wire act continues. And then next election the CPC will wonder what went wrong after party members reaffirmed their confidence in Poilievre and he didn’t whip the caucus to avoid putting forth any private members bills to legislate restrictions to abortions in Canada…wash, rinse, repeat.

I don’t give Trudeau much credit for anything positive, but when asked about abortions in Canada, he pointed out that while he has his own personal views as a practicing Roman Catholic, his party affirm(ed)s that on the whole, Canadians have routinely affirmed their position position that they don’t want government legislating abortion.
