Religious/Extremist Terrorism: Non-Muslim edition

A case study in how online misogyny and extremism is driving real world politics.

While we have rightly been celebrating the levelling-up of girls and women, boys and young men are being left behind. I believe there is a national security imperative to ensure young men aren’t left behind, while not back-tracking on gains made by women.

It's all about people feeling fucked over and seeing no better options, be it for religious or other reasons. Balance needs to be achieved for sure.

I’ve been listening to some podcasts by Scott Galloway (Prof G) who talks a lot about this subject, and addressing it through non-toxic masculinity, mentoring, and trying extra hard in raising our boys.

Are you suggesting that telling boys and young men that they are the problem, because of things that happened a hundred years before they were born, might drive some to radicalization?

It's impossible that implying, and sometimes outright saying, men/boys are unnecessary might inspire them to think uncharitably about women.

Discussion reminds me of something I read on here,

with a little snooping around, social media lives forever. Back in our day, our stupid stuff was gone with the wind unless we wrote a letter, and not many guys did that.

Readers can draw their own conclusions as to why there is a 21 point gender gap in the18 to 29 age group.

Australia, ongoing for the last ten hours: Two Victoria State police are dead, a third wounded, and a manhunt underway in Porepunkah, rural Australia. Looks like a team of police were serving a warrant for some sort of historical sex offence on a known Sovereign Citizen type, one Dezi Freeman. Freeman has considerable history with police, courts etc for Sovereign Citizen ideology.

It sounds like he’s an experienced bushman and may have moved off his property and up towards Buffalo Mountain. Victoria state police have basically everything on scene and have a well established tactical team, but this will be challenging.

The Aussies have a huge problem with these SovCit types- it’s enough of a coherent and violent ideology that I picked this thread for it. This event is reminiscent of a similar ambush two and a half years ago that cost the lives of two Queensland police. Madness and murder: how the Trains brought terror to Wieambilla

My thoughts are with our Aussie colleagues and I hope they can bring a safe and swift end to this.

Yes, they and their imitators were present at the convoy protests. Thankfully they didn’t get violent like many have.

Damn - like the spirit of Ned Kelly has never left that land. I hope they catch him - dead or alive. Preferably dead.

But that's just me.

Further info and background on the ideological extremist continuing to evade Asuatralian police after the murder of two Victoria State Police and the shooting of a third. This dude is all the way down the SovCit rabbit hole. This ideology needs to be recognized for what it is.

This article updates on the manhunt and describes the terrain and climate (both tactically bad) this operation is happening in:

Latest on the Patrick Macdonald charges ....
Patrick MacDonald, aka ‘Dark Foreigner’, has been sentenced to ten years for participation in terrorist activity, facilitating terrorist activity, and incitement of hatred (against Jews in case anyone was wondering). He was mostly out on bail pending sentencing so he won’t have years of pre-sentence credit racked up.

I don't know if this is a new group or one I just heard about. It's hard to keep up.

Sadly hilarious...

Just don't tell them about how much help the First Nations provided Brock... wouldn't want to interrupt their 'nationalist' illusions with some historical facts ;)

Major-General Sir Isaac Brock (1769-1812)

A portrait of Major-General Sir Isaac Brock, one of the greatest military heroes from Ontario’s past, is displayed prominently in the lobby of the Legislative Building.

Brock took over command of the British troops in Upper Canada (now Ontario) in 1810 following a series of successful military campaigns in Europe where he proved to be an effective and skilful leader. The following year, Brock also took on the duties of President and Administrator of Upper Canada, temporarily replacing the Lieutenant Governor who had returned to England on leave. While serving in this position, Brock realized that war with the United States was imminent and began taking measures to defend his colony. In so doing, he strengthened ties with the First Nations in the region and forged an alliance with the Shawnee Chief Tecumseh. Brock knew that without the support of First Nations warriors, a British defeat in any upcoming conflict was all but guaranteed.

There's a REASON why so many Union Jacks fly in communities like Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte ;)
Second Sons is Diagolon’s new evolution in the model of the white nationalist “active clubs”.
I was just listening to an American podcast last week, where the host interviewed a Canadian journalist/OS researcher about a bunch of these guys organizing all-but-calling-them-fight-clubs-out-loud in gyms around southern Ontario.
Interesting insight into how the CBC's OS unit narrows down imagery to match to places, and how to figure out who to dox and who not to, and why.

Here's the CBC's look into the clubs from about a month ago:
