DEU Delay Questions

Hey Everyone,

Over the summer, I finished up my BMQ, did my DP1 and BPARA, and since I've joined, I've wanted to wear DEUs and look like a bus driver. I got sized in late June (as a reservist, I had to wait till I finished DP1) and was told by the tailor the turnaround time was a month. It has now been 5 months, and I've been told to "wait out" until I receive an email saying my DEUs have arrived. To keep it brief, I was wondering if there is any reason why there is such a DEU backlog (potentially has to do with new Incoming DEUs?), am I the only person experiancing this or is this commonplace and is it likely I will get my DEUs for the Christmas dinner? ( I know rememberance day is out of the question)

I depends on your element, and your size.

If you're army, then delays are caused by lack of stock due to a change in DEU happening late next year. For the other elements, if you are a common size, there is often a delay in getting some items restocked. It's likely that the delay in availability of one or two items can prevent an entire order form coming in if it's an initial issue.
