And Raytheon has converted the Swedish Excalibur into a cannon launched version of the Stormbreaker Small Diameter Bomb. Putting the round onto the same wavelength as the British Brimstone and the Swedish Strix. Punt it into the nearest grid square and the round will find its own target.

"Another" would indicated there had been at least one before this, but . . .
It doesn't say how many they are buying but based on the fact they currently have only mortars for their three infantry regiments, I'd guess one 18-gun battalion at best.

You're right it is the first sale and I wouldn't consider Kosovo a first line customer.
Still, everybody has to start somewhere.

Unless significant improvement has been made, I'd not want Hawkeye on its own. It has significant issues with the suspension system as a result if the recoil from the 105
