I really want to join RMC next year I have global average of around 82% (11th isn't done yet though) and i'm in the IB diploma program. My math 12th is at a 80% my chem is 88% and french being at 85% and psychology at 77%. I will be taking physics, chemistry 12th, english and psych 12th next. I am able to speak fluently in French and English along with other languages being raised in Ontario and going to a french catholic school. I have calculus and vectors and french 12th and english 12th next year.

I have also been going to the gym nearly every day and have played house league hockey and a year of single A hockey plus hockey training programs like NTR for a a couple years. I played Intramural Volleyball at my school as our teams captain. I have also attended a leadership in training program from Richmond Hill (CIT) where I had to intern as a camp councilor. Volunteered at Mackenzie health as a marathon guide, I have a MYP certificate which teaches some barebones leadership. I have volunteered as a ping pong ref. I'm also working with friends to create a math tutoring program where I will be a tutor and a guide and planning on teaching a couple workshops revolving around miniature painting. and also volunteered setting up a robotics competition though it is a kind of weak showing of leadership. I also work in our groups pastoral team being someone who helped in making several events come to fruition.

As for medical related stuff, I have never had any medical issues really, no drug use, no allergies, nothing just some mild myopia.

I really need help identifying all my weaknesses and understanding how best to improve to increase my chances. I want to do something maybe a little less art oriented even though I enjoy art related topics it just doesn't seem to be the best path. Any advice is really valued and I really want to do this as service is something I was already planning on and RMC is the dream path for me. I know my grades need to be higher and I will try my best to get them as high as I possibly can. Any experiences relating to the application is also really welcomed.

I'm ROTP CivU but it seems good. Only thing I can really say is get vetter grades but they're good already. You get in or don't get in based on how many other people apply and the competitiveness of the other people. What trade are you going for?

I'm not super sure as of right now, something where I get to create things would be great. I mainly want to join RMC because I want to serve as an officer. I've been wanting to be a soldier for a long time and have been working towards it, CivU used to sound good to me but I want to go less and less now. I will do my best to get the highest grades possible!

Well if you want to be a pilot, it'll be a lot harder to get in compared to infantry officer; I (personally) think you should think about what trade you want to enroll in, because that will be your job for the next twelve or so years...

If you want to create things, sounds like you'd enjoy being Engineering Officer (I used to be infantry and even I don't think I can do that)... that's just my two cents though, look into it for yourself. Just make sure though, it would be no fun if you're stuck in a hard army trade and you realize you hate the field, or an office trade and you realize you hate offices...

I want to serve on the ground, that I know for sure. I was thinking of something along the lines of signals or something similar to infantry officer. But for now i'm trying my best to focus on actually getting in to rmc.

I've been at the military college for 3 years and a half now and I'm set to graduate in June 2027 and honestly I have no doubt that you will be selected. Your grades are better than what I had and I never did any tutoring myself. Go forward with your application process and I hope to see you next year

I'm a Signals Officer, Primary Reserve. I love it, we work with technology and train with Infantry and other Combat Arms. The trade is growing and there's opportunity to do new and interesting things.

Looks like a good resume; your experience as a math tutor and with the robotics competition could augur well for a career in Signals. And having hockey on your resume never hurts. Sorry I cannot speak to RMC admissions -- I went to Queen's :)

Good luck !!
