My concern is why is it that the lower levels (Jr ranks) are  the one raising flags? Where is the senior leadership? And what happened to simply taking care of our troop?

AES Op act as door gunner on the Sea King only. Door gunners on the Griffon/chinook were FEs or observers taken from cbt arms trades, but never became a trade per se. Yes you can join AES Op from either the Res or as direct entry. To become FE one must be either AVN or AVS first.  Navs now...

Also if you are a "complex" case, i.e. Res transferred to Reg or Reg transferred to Res, you will automatically get audited regardless if you chose PIL of 50% or less. Therefore expect 2-3 years before receiving payment.

Starts once you're not apprenctice anymore. 5 years is the average for getting your level A. I believe that is why.

I'm a 1 piece flight suit fan myself. I'm glad we're finally moving to brown boots. I wouldn't be surprise to see the fighter guys be the only ones wearing 1 piece in the future.

Also to add more, some Sqn will approve different patches to wear. For example our SCWO  approved 4 different patches. Its up to the individual to chose which one he prefers.
