Interestingly after 15 years absence from the Reserves I wanted to enroll again. I hopped on the roller coaster that everyone has to ride before becoming a member of the CF. I had an interesting call from one the Career Counsellors at CFRC regarding my release from the P/RES in '96. When I...
Looked and couldn't find anything, or maybe in the wrong place. During the ecfat, are you allowed any materials into the test. No, I'm not looking to bring a calculator into the test. The one in my head just works fine, thank you. Are you allowed a pencil and scratch paper so you can work...
I have my med in a couple of weeks for the reserves. Does the doc at the recruiting centre give you a form for your Family Physician to fill out? Or is everything taken care of at CFRC?
The deal on my end is that the clerk at the unit didn't enter a release date on my UER. I'm still technically in, but really not. As far as my CFR, I had a board and I was offered a position as an officer. Its a done deal as long as I hit no road blocks. CFRC has been great by expediting my...
What's the deal when this happens?
I released about 15 years ago as a SR/NCO and I am in the process of applying again as Officer. Passed my boards, been offered a position at my old unit. This is great because the brigade is not hiring any officers for this trade. Handed my paperwork in to...
If a regiment has no openings, you still may be able to have access to a position if you have former service or know someone who is already a member. I served from 82 to 94 and had no problem getting an offer for a position with my old unit just recently.
Good luck on your quest, who ever you...
The questions were quite varied. I know understand why there is little information out there on the types of questions. The board was very straight forward.
I want to know how long it may take for CFRC to receive VFS from Ottawa. The recruiter told me that it may take 2-4 months. Any one have any experience with this one?
Does anyone have a rough idea of the time it takes the CFRC to receive VFS from the archives in Ottawa. I have heard it can take anywhere from 2 - 4 months depending. Any experiences with this?
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the application process for the regular force and reserve. The online application is a bit ambiguous and doesn't state any difference.
I'm looking for any rural bty types who are now in 1RCHA or 2RCHA. I'm looking for Roger Innis or Dave Apperly. Anyone who may know if they are still serving the guns or have joined the rest of us on civy street.
