I'm not infantry but from what I have seen, the kit hasn't changed. Have never seen anything in the way of new tents. Still the half shelter carried with the sleeping kit and the good old 10 man bell tent.

Have worn Navigator 5's down to -54 without including the wind chill. I only wore a pair of swats and the green sock system inside and me feet have never been warmer. I had the voyagers for an AEV course in Germany and were some of the best pieces of kit I have ever owned.

For sure a 25 Pounder. Manufactured 1943. The "25 PR" is the marking for the size pf the round. This is a Mk II round which means it had and extra charge in a separate container to create higher velocity in case tanks came rolling in.
