Frank, I think you may want to re read the OPs post.. He only said he attempted to join the army reserves, it is my assumption that it did not pan out. Therefore no transfer required. Also, he did not mention anything about wanting to CT from the reserves to reg force in his post? OP, I think...

I personally find it hard on my shins when running in the issued boots, it is not as bad in mynon issued boots.

The reserves are pretty generally pretty flexible when it comes to balancing with your civvie life,however theyre sometimes to flexible...I know a guy in a different unit who has been able to put off dp1 for over 5 years.

Go to the movie theatre arcade and use theirs...I think if you get near the wet noodle or 8 year old girl range you re good to go.

You're welcome. Are you planning on joining the reserves, or do you hope to join the regular force after school? I will also suggest to consider post secondary education as a back up plan, applying to schools never hurt even if you don't end up going.

Fitness is very important, as well as all of your other subjects. Ensure that you do your best in all of your classes, not just the fun ones.

What do you mean scrounging for parts? In my experience, youve either been issued the complete deu set after a year in or still only have cadpat.

I don't know anyone who fears the police regardless of what they wear or carry. The only thing most people are worried about when it comes to cops, is the fact that they are the ones who will give you the tickets.

There is no specific class during BMQ that teaches this - however I think that it may be a result of the training as a whole. And don't kid yourself, not everybody represents the uniform well.
