Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

I might as well chip in here. Firstly everyone take it easy. One of the great things about this forum IS the chance to vent to each other (within reason of course), so that we aren't constantly badgering our family/partner etc with it. Try to keep the peace with each other here. It's a tough...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

I feel your pain. Nothing here either. I am pretty convinced that it will be the last week of May at the earliest. I wish I knew how many programs they have to write up messages for and in what order they disperse them. I hear that the NCMUTP went out likely last week. Don't know anything more...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

My PO2 was delegated to write the CO's recommendation. I don't know if there was any furthe correspondence on the CO's part once the BPSO was done with my Pers file. She told me that the usual process was (once the interview was complete) to send the file back to the CO informing him of the...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

Regarding messages coming out I mentioned before was a direct quote from the RMS Clerk who works at the PDEV office. Last week/this week the UTPNCM program offers are likely going out. Once they process those, I am HOPING that the next program that they inform is the AVOT. I am assuming that...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

FWIW, I got a reply from my Pdev clerk and what she told me was: DMCPG are currently drafting messages for another program. They have delays in every program, so the wait is ‘’normal’’. Not sure if this will be of help but it was a relief to know that NONE had gone out yet. Cheers!

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

I so feel your pain (maybe not even as much if some have been trying for more than once). I was on parade today and talked to an admin clerk who works in the PSO OR and he mentioned that he hadn't seen any go out this year yet and that they were behind, BUT he also mentioned that he wasn't the...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

There is tonnes of views on this forum, but no one indicating any results either positive or negative. Anyone lurking out there that is going through this this year? This waiting is seriously the worst the further it goes into May.

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

I have some relief in a way, I found out who receives all of the incoming messaging traffic for my unit and oddly enough she remembers me from before when I was here, so she took my name down and told me that if she sees my name come across the board she will shoot me an email. So now I don't...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

So you didn't receive the message directly but it came down through the CoC despite the fact that you were an addressee on the message?

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

I appreciate the input Eye, a small bit of relief. Seriously my minute sheet looked like I was asking to sleep with everyone's wife. It wasn't a big surprise as they told me point blank that they would push my memo but would not endorse it. However even some emails got circulated on what...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

Could anyone tell me in what format the offer is offered? ie: message like a posting message. or just an email? I am a bit antsy about this part of the process as my unit pretty much all the way up the chain did not support or endorse my application. My limited understanding as to what happens...

Aerospace Control Operator ( AC Op )

I am waiting for a VOT message to get into this trade. The wait is KILLING me!

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

Anyone feel free to correct me if I am incorrect here but unless you are going for one of the "direly in need" trades, the cut off for the 2014-2015 AVOT program is over. Firstly and foremost you will need to submit a memo of "Intent to apply for AVOT". This is the official means by which you...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

Yeah what kills me is not knowing things ie: how many people HAVE applied to VOT into that trade? I know they will take 6 VOT applications. If they bypass you, do they give reasons (I heard no from the PSO). Kinda hard to put forth a better showing on the next go if you don't know why you were...

Voluntary Occupational Transfer ( VOT )

Trying to get out of Comms Rsch to AC Op. Went through quite the adventure getting to the point now where I am waiting for acceptance (hopeful). I WISH I knew what happens with the paperwork once it goes from the BPSO office to the boards.... not very transparent. If anyone has been declined...

    AVOTP Offers 2015

I am applying for AC Op. My BPSO Officer told me that I should expect (if successfull) to hear by April/May. Rejection letters by June. Although there was an extension for VOT this year for several trades. I know she mentioned that at the VERY latest I had to have all of my completed...
