Agreed. While corporations and their greed is well documented, so is the failures of government provided services. I think as a society, we put up with government inefficiencies for essential services as a necessary evil, but I wouldn't lump air travel in as a essential service.

Well, best to get used to it. Climate change was predicted to cause hotter, drier summers and increased wildfire risks. We will all need to adapt as this will not be getting any better. Might fluctuate from season to season, but on a whole, it's going to get a whole lot worse.
