    Army CFB Postings

From what I understand, It just means what colour your uniform is.  Since MPs are purple, they go wherever they are needed.  For what it's worth, I went Army too :p

Conflict in Darfur, Sudan - The Mega Thread

I'm not sure if you knew about the update on that, but it turned out that it was some geotechnical equipment...... <from article> But Const. Rose Dunsmore explains the equipment was actually "a magnetic electrical field sensor, used by geotechnical firms in the mining industry." The gear was...

    BESH Knives?

As far as other knives go, I'll throw my vote for Spyderco.  Having that giant hole for your thumb to find is a better design choice than adding a thumb stud that might fall off.  Holes don't go anywhere and they weigh less :p

    Military Police Assessment Centre (MPAC)

From people on my MPAC, and my experience, the recruiting centres are pretty good about getting the yes/no out pretty quick once they get it.  I woke up to a phone call from my recruiter after a graveyard shift....She had called 3 times before 1030am!

    BESH Knives?

I'm getting a Besh Buck Bravo folder in a couple weeks, just waiting on some engraving :D From what I understand, both the top and the bottom are chisel ground, letting you get the knife VERY sharp without much trouble.  The chisel grind lets you do some things better than a traditional knife...

    Got a hard question

Huh, neat.  I can't understand why they would ticket you when they know someone else was driving, but I guess the law works in mysterious ways.... In my not-very-experienced opinion, I would try and get the Crown and the recruiter talking together, and let them figure it out.  I've heard of...

    Got a hard question

Emphasis mine.  That's not a traffic ticket.  That's criminal court, with the bolded part being a suspended sentence or conditional discharge (I can't remember which one is which).  Unless you mean a 1 year driving probation thing?  I'm not from Manitoba, so I'm not familiar with their motor...

Holy crap.  That is pants-wet scary.  At 1:15, they zoom in on a red spot.  Is that him bleeding?

I know a guy.... He was a Navy cook, and developed an allergy to potatoes.  He got medically released, and got retrained as a plumber.

    Start of the day?

I was wondering when the new missions rolled out.  Is it based off of GMT, or Ontario time?

    MP qualifications

I thought I heard someone say that there were 7 Academy courses running next year, when we were on the MPAC.  24 to a course, x7 = 168 MPs.

Acting lacking MCpl in charge of a section with qualified MCpl's

Gotcha.  Actually, that explains why the Lt. said about 2 years, and why everyone else said right away.
