This seems to be a point where people are being held up, present company included. For some, it's the limited number of med officers to run the appointments. For others, It's sometimes lengthy to complete the post medical scavenger hunt, particularly if your GP office is bad with scheduling...

Fair. Though working in the hospital, a similar redundancy exists where a patient will essentially be asked for the same information a number of times beyond that of being logistically useful. If GP approved medical as requested by an officer, what could be the holdup?
