Sikh & India (Alleged) Shenanigans in Canada (split fm Non-Muslim terr thread)

Oh I agree. But we are talking about a foreign agent killing Canadian citizens on Canadian soil, If we said that was happening a week before this news broke, it would be just as unbelievable.

Sikh & India (Alleged) Shenanigans in Canada (split fm Non-Muslim terr thread)

While the timing is interesting, if the wheels were in motion and the information was going to come out by his mouth or someone else. He had no choice but to get ahead of the news. To me, it is a much more serious accusation than those with China. Not trying to lessen our issues with China, but...

Sikh & India (Alleged) Shenanigans in Canada (split fm Non-Muslim terr thread)

This has to be a highly calculated move. I can't see any nation publicly calling out another without weighing all the outcomes. India will most likely react with some sort of reprisals in return. I'm sure there were some sort of unofficial communication between the two governments before...

Simon Logan v. Her Majesty The Queen

Good to see it on a news site. It might inform some of those who otherwise don't know they are eligible.

Simon Logan v. Her Majesty The Queen

Yes. Ok let me spell it out. Maybe I'm not understanding this, or maybe you are not understanding what I'm asking. My situation I went from SISIP LTD to VAC LTD to DEC . As SISIP cut off my benefits right at 2 years even though I was still disabled and not trained for future employment...

Simon Logan v. Her Majesty The Queen

This is why I mentioned DEC. I personally have my IRB for life, which reduces at 65. Because of DEC designation. I'm sure others on here and in that class are in similar situations.

Simon Logan v. Her Majesty The Queen

I've been reading through this last couple days. I'm curious how this will affect people who still collect IRB like those who are DEC. The way I understand it now, is they should of still kept paying allowances like Sea/air/land, PLD, etc. During the 2+ years of manulife support post release...

    Amazing Race in Esquimalt.

I've been out for almost as long as I been in now. I probably would be dissapointed if I knew the current standards.

    Amazing Race in Esquimalt.

Oh I can definitely see it as a positive PR thing over all. I also agree I doubt anyone mistook them as actual CAF members. I just feel wearing ranks by those who hasn't earned it should not be something that is allowed, even for positive PR. To me it cheapens the rank and standing.

    Amazing Race in Esquimalt.

Watching Amazing race tonight, they were showcasing a challenge from Esquimalt. Where the racers had to put out one of the field tents from the Army. While having serving members around watching them, encouraging, etc. Sounds great, but something about the show really annoyed me. The...

PSHCP - Frustration abounds as public service health plan gets switched to Canada Life

Personally I had a horrible time getting it transferred. Had to jump through a lot of hoops with snail mail. If there was a problem with my application they would mail it back with little explanation, expecting me to fix it. No calls to inform me what was the issue. A certain box not checked...

    VAC decision appeals...

With Table of disabilities the %ages are pretty well defined. At least from my experience, the percent they came back with has been roughly what I expected when I applied. If you can justify why you feel you should get higher while using the numbers laid out in the table of disabilities, I...

    VAC games

Just an update, curious if anyone else have experienced something similar. Checking MYVAC today, my totals have changed, (increased) again. Originally the difference from 2022 total was an increase of 6.39%. When I looked at it end of December. Now its showing my increase at 7.28% One...

    VAC games

Just food for thought, my increase is 6.39%. So if it is suppose to be 6.9 +.1. I'm being short changed .61%.

    VAC wait times

I don't have the exact time lines in front of me, but from decision letter to deposit was roughly 3 weeks. Much under their quoted turn around.

    VAC wait times

I got my decision letter first week of November. Asked for a lump sum form some time last week. Got the form on Monday and submitted it. No deposit yet Hope that helps. Also if you haven't I recommend taking advantage of psychological services. It helped me out a lot before.

Mbr in almost 7 years and only got his QL3/DP1 this summer

This sounds horrible. I'm not sure if anything can be done in the short term, I'm sure others will have better knowledge there. But I would submit a grievance anyways, they can take a very long time to resolve, so I would get the ball rolling sooner or later. This member, has missed out on...

Is it possible to get my CFAT score

I've now been out for over 6 years but this is something I always wondered how I did. I've always had career managers make comments that I did exceptionally well on it or mentioned a high percentile, but I'd like to know just for my own info. I know while I was in none would disclose how I did...

    VAC wait times

I know we constantly have negative things posted regarding wait times, I decided to post a little positive, and perhaps this is a sign things are improving. I submitted a back claim In June of this year. after submitting they forwarded me a medical questionnaire that I didn't get complete...
