HIMARs is only on paper with no funds identified.
No funds for replacing donated guns and replacing the RCA with modern ones including SPH.
No ammo streams identified or invested in to secure replacement ammo.
Only tanks being upgraded are those going to Latvia.
No funds for...
There are the trappings of a modern army in Latvia but the situation for everyone is Canada isn't close. But Latvia is only a collection of various company sized combat elements.
Seemed like it over focused on some projects and missed the elephant in the room that there is not intent for the major procurement projects to materialize as the timelines tell a very telling story even with the latest LVSW replacement. Additionally the aggressive padding of the defense budget...
The number of 90 is interesting as the US plans to push 59 to every light infantry brigade. Based on that number you would expect to see 20 in Latvia, 60 for the LIBs, leaving the remaining 10 or so for training or war stocks.
Does anyone have any information or sources for the post war militia organization that existed until 1964? I have seen what is available on www.canadiansoldiers.com but was wondering if there were any other sources out there.
I have also contacted DHH but they have a huge waitlist and have not...
A more palpable solution may be to run both parties like the Liberals/Nationals in Australia. Let the Conservatives run outside of the two major metro populations while the BCU runs for those city seats only.

It appears that some of the few federal sites being looked at for housing include old armouries outside of cities. Seems a...
Might have been close to being possible as only about 50% of Canadian military personnel deployed vs 75% in our allied countries. If we had deployed the same numbers as the Americans and Australians we likely could have seen 7/8 divisions and an additional armored brigade. By the end of the war...
I wouldnt worry about this too much. This concept has yet to be initiated and is mainly just newspeak to deal with the lack of LAV 2 Coyote replacement which affects the regular force. Reserve armored units have a number of sub roles assigned to units but are doing largely the same DP1 they did...
I think you gotta play the language/population game a bit. It blows having to be shoe horned into it but due to the weak representation in the Navy and less so the RCAF you army needs to carry the difference of having units and bases in which Francophones can serve. Arguably you also need to...
The material and colour are pretty annoying as I'd like to be able to find a better quality shirt with the same colour for those one or two times a year but its impossible.
