Well didnt they just approve some plan to get something like 30% of the troops that apply in wthin a week, so it would make sense that they speed up training too.

The only time Ive heard of PAT platoon was from some naval personel, but i believe its the same as "holding platoon". In our regiment we have a platoon in HQ\Support for the PAT personel.

In the reserves they usually put the untrained soldiers in this company as they await training.

How well do you guys think the ROEs were?

They run a REG DP1 out of Meaford durning the winter (2 courses I believe) and that course is a lot better (I haven't done the DP1 so I cant comepare them but form what I've heard). I was asked if I wanted the Reg DP1 so I opted for that as opposed to waiting until the summer to comlete my...

Ok so a picture of us in an ORV would be alright if you can't see anybody's faces? Is it the same with videos because I have one of us firing the Carl G that I would like to post. Its all a lot of good stuff to put in a recruiting album or something.

I have some pictures from my DP1 in the winter of last year (we were all given a course CD with pictures and videos). If their face can be seen in a picture can I post it or is that invading their privacy? ANy guidlines for this? Sorry to be a bother, I just thought it be better safew then...

I tried to do a search for this but everytime I do one it stops halfway throug so I started this thread. Could anyone please help inform me as to what it is I can do to get a tasking for this summer? I have already been to my BOR where I was told that they are under-staffed and over worked...
