Nope.  Was a question from a civilian who is unfamiliar with our kit. 

They're very special poles.. not always easy to get sometimes depending on the type of tent. And yes.. being military surplus I could see the canvas/tents being sold without poles. It's a very valid question.

Is having knowledge of the crime before it happens akin to conspiracy to those who are going to commit it? She would have extensive knowledge of her husbands activities.  Now of course with no proof she's technically able to live happily anywhere she pleases.
