They're very special poles.. not always easy to get sometimes depending on the type of tent.

And yes.. being military surplus I could see the canvas/tents being sold without poles.
It's a very valid question.

Nope.  Was a question from a civilian who is unfamiliar with our kit.

Hello:

The artctic tents require center pole only, that's the beauty of these tents. They are not included but as soon as I find out the lenght I will make some up.

Attached are 2 pictures of the 5 and 10 man arctic.

BTW I am lending a 5 man to ST Pius high school and they will be using it on their end of year school trip to Baffin Island, looking forward to their feedback .
