I thought it was red because that doesn't burn images into your eyes like staring at a light bulb. Well that's what this guy with a big telescope told me when he was reading his star charts with a red flashlight.

Aw really my friend had a night vision camera and he said it was pretty cool. He was gonna show me it while he still had it but the batteries died. Is it hard on the eyes or do they just get in the way?
