Canadians serving on exchange in the US also wear badges sown on their CADPAT uniforms (ranger, Div etc...) and the pins or whatever they are (jump wings etc...). Its their thing and it helps you fit in.

Aldershot eh. I'd book a room in Juno Tower in Halifax every weekend.  When I was there in 99 a lot of people took limos to the Digby ferry or to Halifax as it was the cheapest means of tpt other then having your own car as you could split the costs by 6 or 7.

If its just FFQ, I believe every area is running FFQ crses so you may not have to do it as part of the DP 1.1 crse.

I'm surprised that they were able to add time to a Phase course, the RMC academic year usually prevents any additions.  Once thing I will say is that you should have the attitude that the longer the course is the better to ensure you're as well trained as possible to prepare you for commanding a...

The actual NSCC/CFSAC competition is 06 to 21 Sept 08.  I'm the OPI for the LFAA team this year and currently trying to sort out all the admin. 2 RCR hasn't been involved for a few years so its definitely a rebuilding year.

The key thing in that article is that the Marines are committed for use in SOUTHERN Afghanistan, meaning multiple provinces.  There are not any more soldiers in Afghanistan specifically dedicated to Kandahar yet.
