Is that really how the Comd SM beard grew in? Or he's wearing a goatee? Either way that beard in no way meets the standard IMHO, the CA SM just sent out an email threatening to rescind beards in the CA if we didn't start enforcing standards better.
Yes I'll have to check with my CM's and see if they have changed this policy, separating someone from their spouse still requires and AR at the CM level.
All of which still requires a position in trade and rank to be posted into. If there is no positions available then it's still not going to happen. But to answer the OP question, yes after your CM cuts the posting message you apply for an IR posting and that has benefits attached to it, you...
It's midnight blue like our accents on our mess kit, but yes a very dark blue. All the stake holders decided to use the same dark blue as the Brit Corps do, we are now calling it "Army Blue" officially

I've seen people getting them on Facebook so they are shipping, if you check your logistik corp profile it will have a tracking number if it has shipped
All RCEME soldiers will be wearing them on May 15th....it is RCEME Day :P The Comd CADTC will be at the RCEME School in Borden to do the official blessing. In Edmonton we will be doing a parade a couple hours later due to the time zones of course.
That is correct CME were offered just as the other CSS/CS Corps, and they declined. I suspect because the Engineers have a culture of thinking they are infantry as well as CME. 15th May is RCEME Day for those that don't know, we maybe the first Corps to have this blessed this year. Being the...
I would have to agree while it was more involved than a regular changing of the guard, I watched it 3 times and didn't see what I expected for a Trooping of the Colours, I expected to see the Colours marched through the the ranks in front of each Guardmens

EO Tech's as are all RCEME trades, hard Army, so we generally do Army PT, 5 days a week in most units. The FORCE Test is still the min requirement, but like the BFT before it, people getting LDA have to do the Combat Force Test as well. So while we are quit busy fixing the Armies kit, we still...
I'd be happy with stealing their uniforms, sad when RCAF and RCN members can join SOF and look more Army than the Army does :-/ But we can go with a single Khaki colour and let SOF stay two tone...
The one uniform that looked good, our Tans in the 90's was cut to save money. I wore that in the SSF with jump boots, it was sharp so off course we had to get rid of it :-/
I would take that over the unification business suit with badges we have now :-/ I personally think the brits have a sharp looking Army uniform...and looking good in a uniform is good for morale and worth investing some money on.
Well I would say logically....that you are in DP1 until the day you qualify DP2, which for most trades is a formal course.. But yes I can see room for interpretation, is this meant to say the end of DP1.0 or the entire DP1 period?
Well OFP is well defined by MPC for each MOSID, so that should not be in question, though the question about what happens if you change trades is something that needs clarification.
That is not the case were I am, everyone knew this was coming, to the point that the Comd 1CMBG authorized beards two weeks ago ahead of the CFG, and then repelled that action after consulting with his boss :-/ But it was well known across the CA from speaking with my peers.
