Somewhat unrelated, but I wanted to see if I there was an actual answer to this one. Why are certain trades allowed to wear trade badges in combats, while others aren't? For example, trade badges are authorized for those in the armoured trade, but not for the infantry.

I'm pretty sure if there were any chance of a Canadian base being attacked, there would be no cadets on it. For example, the entire cadet program was shut down for awhile after the Ottawa shooting.
That has got to be a conflict of interest. I know that there probably haven't been issues in the past, but Who knows what could happen in the future now.
