I agree the PT test could be harder especially the Step Test, but if they were to test people on the "Beep Test" it requires a lot of space. I assume that there is some type of research behind the step test and it can tell if candidates are fit enough for the CF.

I like the idea of a more military BOQ. I was talking with my CO about it, and a week for BOQ isn't long enough. How can you produce a leader in one week. 3 weeks is a lot more reasonable. Especially when they will eventually get the same Commission as Res. and Reg Force Officers.

I have heard that the CF is thinking of possibly breaking into two Expeditionary Forces what does this mean?....Or did I totally misinterpret it?

The "Dungeon" in my Armouries is creepy. The building was constructed in 1899-1901 and down stairs there is tunnels that lead to all these tunnels throughout Vancouver and apparently an underground train station a huge range. You get a really erie feeling down there too.

We have all been through the phase, as long as they aren't hurting anyone else don't make a big deal about it.  It's just maturity any 13 year old kid in Combat gear has the same attitude, just let them go through the phase it won't last too long.

How long does it take for a Reserve to get his DEUs?  Is it after BMQ?

I had to do a third phase which was a double step, anyone else have to do that too?  Also how did you guys get your grip test results? They wouldn't tell me mine.

Last time I visted it was pretty low like 20 at most, and it was about the same before.  How did you guys pick up so many new recruits?

I am not to familiar with DP1, what exactly is in the course?

I am assuming I am going on my BMQ and SQ this summer, but I am taking 6 months off next year and in that time I wouldn't mind taking my DP1. Does anyone know if they offer DP1 in the fall?

Ya, Cadets "stimulated" my interest in the CF and I finally got into today! I am still in cadets though   :salute:

I passed everything today! ;D So I just have to wait to be sworn in!

F-Coy was taken away a few years ago, but it is coming back this summer as a Basic Coy again.
