Soldiers accused of stealing from fellow CF members

Holding summary trials in the presiding officers office was generally the case and still is for the most part in my experience.  However, during my last stint at CFSME, they where held in a school common area with plenty of seating for all and sundry (in the case of a trainee being charged...

    Wings

Agreed...same applies to the smock jumps wings which are white (and of course red).  Bottom line,  they were generally referred to as white wings.....and 'silver leaf' if you were looking for one for your CFs at that time.

    Wings

Exactly, and if I recall, only came with a red leaf which is why we had to pin on the silver leaf.

I don't bother with that.... I have a copy of CAR RSOs in effect at disbandment, for the hell of it I dug them out to see what they offer, and they state, "Silver Maple Leaf  to be worn by those entitled."

Soldiers accused of stealing from fellow CF members

In the old army...at least the Brit one...dealing with a thief caught stealing in the shacks often never made it to a charge (or the official radar of the CoC)...I only know of one instance in this case early in my post basic career (1979) - where a thief was caught (in my troop) and admitted...

Kenny: Time to get more mileage from field grade officers?

Jim is correct though for certain folks...I was selfishly thinking of those like myself who can serve under grandfathered provisions....and should have mentioned that that anyone who enrolled after 9 July 2004 (also seen mention of 'after 30 June 2004" and '1 July 2004') are automatically...

Kenny: Time to get more mileage from field grade officers?

quote author=Jim Seggie link=topic=101696/post-1060190#msg1060190 date=1310385158] I thought CRA was 60? Only if you elect and the election is approved. I think Kenny's position is based on the fact than many officers are serving effectively grandfathered under the old pensions provisions (as...
