My take on this part is that if you only have enough chains to do two of the 4 tires on the rear, stick em on the axle with the Diff lock on it... Since the driver probably already has the Inter-axle (referred to in the MSVS-M as the Power Drive Lock) engaged there will be good traction to begin...
