The Depression / Anti Depressants Merged Thread

Perhaps the doctor misread or misinterpreted the form he was supposed to fill out causing him to inadvertently check "yes" in those boxes? If not, and the doctor genuinely feels that you are a concern when it comes to handling firearms and for hurting yourself and others, then maybe there are...

    smoking before medical

Quit smoking. And yes, smoking obviously will affect your heart rate and blood pressure, making you appear to have a higher resting heart rate and blood pressure than normal. As a result, the results could be interpreted as you having a higher than normal BP/RHR; which may not necessarily bode...

    ROTP 2008-2009

Yeah, the pay protection is very nice. Count each year of your reserve experience as being 0.25 years of RegF time (so if you have say, 4 years of Reserve experience, it would be equivalent to 1 year of RegF time), plus any Class B you have (obviously counting as full time). That's what's been...

    Anyone here have a MAC?

Don't worry Quagmire - once you get the hang of Macs, you'll fall head over heels in love and you'll never, ever turn back. I switched from PC to Mac this past August after using PC all my life, instantly fell in love, and will never, ever, ever, ever consider going back to PC, or using any...

    Anyone here have a MAC?

Or download FireFox for Mac. Sometimes on the occasional webpage or web application I will run into problems with Safari and will need to resort to FireFox for specific things - so it's a good idea to have FireFox there on hand in case you run into a scenario where Safari goes a little funny on you.

    ROTP 2008-2009

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with that, being a CT. However, I think it would make sense (in my opinion) if everyone's prior military background were ignored (as obviously not all individuals are coming off of the street) for purposes of the enrollment ceremony and the formalities thereof, to...

Dozens of college students busted in drug sting - AP

Who was the genius who sent the mass text message advertising sale of cocaine? Better still... who was the genius who asked if his arrest and incarceration would have an effect on his becoming a law enforcement officer? And to think that individuals of this quite obviously lacking level of...

Some 79,000 Ont. students play choking game: survey - CP

Likewise - it was very popular at my high school as well, especially in grades nine and ten. It was even more popular amongst the stoner group of kids - you know, that very distinct group of kids that would go out everyday at lunch to the "Corner" and smoke a joint to make class that much more...
