    WEAPONS TECHNICIAN - LAND

The poster also stated a leopard tank, the official name of the ARV is Taurus. Big difference between the two

    WEAPONS TECHNICIAN - LAND

I was the ARV CC for my pre-deployment trg, and I do know of a Wpns Tech that CC'd the ARV on Ops. The ARV always tends to roll with the QFR, just in case breaching or recovery is required

    WEAPONS TECHNICIAN - LAND

Well I've been at the Regt for 8, and never did I hear of one of my techs being given the ability to go on Ops in a crewman posn. If something goes wrong the CC and approving CoC is going to be hanging in the wind. The Armoured Corps takes their gunnery quals seriously

    WEAPONS TECHNICIAN - LAND

In a Leo on QRF??? That I doubt, he would have to be a qualified 105/120mm gunner in order to be there. In his TLAV as part of the QRF is more factual, I've been there and done it with my TLAV.

    M109 Shredding

This makes me sad as well, I served the 109s of 1 RCHA from 97 - 02. I loved working on and around them.

The brown Temperate Combat Boot (AKA: Mk IV Cbt Boot) - No longer CADPAT

I beg to differ about that, as 2 of the PTAs are sub C/S of my Regt and a huge portion of the Bde Sigs Sqn. So yes Edmonton Clothing is impacted as Svc Bn would issue kit to these soldiers, some of whom have been on constant exercise since Jan 13.

The brown Temperate Combat Boot (AKA: Mk IV Cbt Boot) - No longer CADPAT

The mission isn't unforcasted, but the demands on the supply system by the pers that are deploying on it weren't forecasted. There are also 3 PTAs that are undergoing training at Ex Maple Resolve that are taxing the system as well

Sexual Assault & Sexual Misconduct in the CF

The rank was changed last year, now know as the base major. Kind of toothless considering CMTC and WATC have more rank.

I've heard the rumour of going back to the future, evidently the grown ups at the NCR have realized that the implosion wasn't worth the grief

    Who uses the C8?

You just might want to quit while you're ahead, otherwise it'll be off to the naughty list right away.

Refueling: Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle - RG-31 and LAV Coyote Replacement

Andy, Its the tank mounts themselves that have been failing. Right now the whole fleet is under repair, FARs were never meant for cross country travel. Pat

    Individual Meal Pack (IMP) [Merged]

Last I heard IMPs ran 25ish per meal. Vern would know for sure.

Armour regiments and what do they offer.

We have several Crew Commanders that are bilingual here at the Regt. Along with several of the Tpr/Cpls.

Mechanical Breaching (From: Canada's purchase of the Leopard 2 MBT)

Except the disks are a lot bigger in diameter and heavier too. We did the trials on Ex Steele Sabre 11.

Nothing at all, I think the July decision was another MES pipedream. TB will give a decision when they feel like, regardless of the timelines set by another department.

This restructure is a poison to all that are forced to drink it. We all know what the proper plan should have been.
