Just started reading this and I did not get to far in when this caught my attention.
When did we start eating MRE's over IMP's? Is this just a case of the reporter mixing up acronyms, a small point but it made me begin to question how accurate the article is.

I'd be interested to here from the KevinB's of the world on this one, as this debate has raged on for many years now
I have a pair of the Mechanix gloves and they are fantastic for the Svc Bn world. Not sure how they would translate into the Combat arms world, but I really like them myself. Reasonably cheap when you compare them to some of the "tactical" products out there. They stnad up failry well to daily...
I have to say I am a little conflicted here. On the one hand it's good to hear that these numpties didn't end up getting beheaded live on Aljazeera. On the other hand if they hadn't gone over there to spread the word...they would not have endangered themselves, gotten their American co-worker...
Not an exact line of comparison but this is my 2 cents on the response of the Christian Peacemakers....

With the stuff we get from the Logistik Corp website, do we have to turn it back in upon release?
The reason I ask is that some of my grey socks and one pair of dress shoes fell victim to a very hungry dog. No big deal if I have to pay for them, just curious.
The attention can get ridiculous to the point where I was approached by a senior officer about comments I made in this forum. I challenged himto prove that it was me ( he couldn't) Now the comments I made were not out of line by any stretch and I stand by them to this day. My comments were in...

One of the items I keep hearing in North Bay (my hometown) is the costs associatted with running the hole are significantly higher than that of the new AGC (Above Ground Complex).
There is talk in the city about turning "The Hole" into a secure data storage facility. There is also talk that...
