Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

yup and Canada has a pretty decent setup for that also. But they still use multiple inputs to verify data, including surface, sub surface and air assets. Then I guess we can eliminate the SPY series radars for BMD and just rely on satellite services across the board. Yaaa problem solved.

They have made it very clear that they will violate anyone's sovereignty as they see fit. It is not the point. Unless they want to set up their own radar stations for early warning on our territory they have to form some kind of agreement with us. If not then we can deal with it at the time.

There should be no reason for the Regular Force to require Reservists to augment any of the current sized operations. The fact that they require this is a sign that the Regular Force is severely unstaffed. This is not saying a fully staffed Regular Force could not open 10-20% of their...

The RCAF's Next Generation Fighter (CF-188 Replacement)

They stated a few years ago they would be interested in working with the Canadian Government in developing a medium to heavy lift aircraft domestically a few years ago. The Government wad not interested but might be in the near future.

Safe production away from the eastern front. A highly skilled workforce who can be part of future development of not only aircraft but multiple other systems. Similar reason reason why Korea is trying to get our support and buy their systems.

I doubt it, the US doesn't build diesel boats anymore. If Germany was building the F35 we would not have been invited into the initial design /supply of some intricate systems for the F35, therefore would not even been on the radar for sales to us. The first step they need to do is buy enough...

I am willing to bet more people are involved in some way shape or form in those hot topics of discussion then they are in Subs. LOL, I think if you break down the options for what we need and the limited builders available along with timelines. There really is not much to say about it. All the...

There was more to this than just shopping around. Ordering from legitimate suppliers, manufactures and producers has resulted in similar issues and concerns. That is why QC is suppose to be doing their job. They often get laxed over things like this.

For aviation parts specifically the NSN is usually across the board. But many parts will show up as unavailable or restricted even though it might be the same part. Otherwise you can use a search engine and type in the NSN and it generally will show commercially available products. Or You can...

Most of that diagnostic equipment can be sourced locally and immediately. In some cases downloaded if you have the rights to the program software. It would be a good idea to have a few port connections as spares in Stores. Otherwise should not be a problem getting them. There are enough tools...

    Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels (MCDVs)

Isnt the Underwater gear on those ships in a sea can? Which can fit on almost anything that can accept a sea can? I am not sure what specialized features and or ratings were integrated into the Kingston class. From my understanding it is very limited. Could easily if not already incorporated in...

I like the idea of Rocket Artillery/ Air Defence set up especially along the three Coast lines we have.
