I have a feeling nobody wants to do a snap drill and then have to prosecute a quarter of the ResF that didn't show up because they had a date that night...
we had a guy who signed up for DP1, and when we showed up to gagetown to do roll call, he wasn't there, and they asked where he was...
I can't speak for myself because I have never been to a desert, but I've seen those zip boots explode after one LHQ, so I think they won't hold up nowhere...
Well in my personal opinion they should either raise the price of these contracts, because now, after spending X million dollars on boots, they have to spend another X million dollars on boots, because they have to buy their own boots anyways, because the quality of the boots are horrendous, or...
It must cost a ludicrous amount of money to make those crappy underwear, zip boots, the metal pan for the ablution kit, seatbelt cutter, and all those other pieces of kit that most people just throw away.
I have no clue with the boots why we don't have a contract with Altbergs like the UK Army...
Well my BMOQ mod 1 has been PLAR'd (former SHAD), so I just don't wanna show up to BMOQ mod 2 with my DEU not done right, I think I'd get my rack thrown out the window for that...
So they're the same thing? Thanks a lot.
Yup... I had a demoted RCR guy on my course, he was like a charicature out of south park f***ot this, sexism this, racism that... and he said this on the range with live ammo, can't waste a time to jack people up!!!
It should be a priviledge to teach, and I think that if you can't be GBA+...
That's good to hear... I thought the whole military was like that
I hope when i'm regs it'll be better for me
I am very sorry for whatever LT has to deal with them when they go on deployment
"That guy" is one of the better ones...
i think that guy, and like 2 pte's passed pwt3 last time we did it, and everyone else failed... obviously they doctored the scores and made everyone pass but sometimes I find it's hard to say that we're infantry when we can't even pass basic infantry test...
I'm green enough; my CO, the couple times I talked to him, seemed alright; my only experience with my CSM is sending him a memo a year ago and never getting a response back — yes, I ask for it back regularly.
We don't have sections/platoons in garison because we have 8 pte's/cpls that actually...
I'm sorry; I didn't mean to make fun of you... there are obviously some good people in the reserves... another problem is those people usually don't stay in the reserves
That's why I find that it's a failed experiment... what's the point of keeping the reserves if it's just going to be gutted out?
Also, my last two Mcpls in my regiment were RegF that got placed under contract in the reserves... it's already like this
I find it's a disgrace to have uniformed...
Wow, Ontario seems to have some pretty high quality education... in New Brunswick I learnt nothing about that, all twelve years... (I got detention in elementary school for telling my teacher that a nuclear power plant doesn't produce CO2)
I personally think that it's okay to gloss over it, and...
Wasn't that the point to which pastafarianism was created? That no one story can be taught because they're are an infinite number of stories? I think, personally, that if you're in public school, they should avoid the subject alltogether; maybe only a day of class in high school... I've met...
Well if you want to be a pilot, it'll be a lot harder to get in compared to infantry officer; I (personally) think you should think about what trade you want to enroll in, because that will be your job for the next twelve or so years...
If you want to create things, sounds like you'd enjoy...
I'm ROTP CivU but it seems good. Only thing I can really say is get vetter grades but they're good already. You get in or don't get in based on how many other people apply and the competitiveness of the other people. What trade are you going for?
