I am doing the CDWT crse right now, and it is geared more for people who will be purchasing goods and services.  It doesn't talk much about 32 and 34. I see you are in Greenwood, I'll am posted there this summer.  :)

Also, if you are going to be doing any purchasing you will need the "Contracting Direct with Trade"  course.  It is so much fun.    It is/has replacing the CCC and green procurement courses from what I understand

Calculation as follows:  (Gross monthly pay at time of release) divided by 30 x 7 x number of completed years of service not to exceed 30. Now, how this will change with the new CBI, I am not sure.

If you are allowed 4 days but only used 3 then you get reimbursed for 3.  You're not going to get paid for a day you didn't use. If you have a paid receipt in your name for a hotel you stayed at during one of the authorized nights, then you will get reimbursed as long as it is a reasonable amount.

In order to declare Common-Law you must be living together as husband and wife for 12 months.  Proof will be required such as phone bills, lease, etc that are in both your names.  So in your case your one year mark was in Dec 2011.  Had you got married or declared common law prior to joining it...

You are on course.  I will assume QL3.  So you will get a posting msg near the end of the crse.  After that, posting messages are typically cut in March with the COS date being some time in Jul or Aug.  However, there exceptions to every rule.

If you have not paraded in more that 30 days you are NES.  Did you receive any letters from the unit telling you that you were NES?  If yes, did you respond to the letters?  If you submitted a memo requesting a voluntary release (4C)  then they should have contacted you to come sign the...

Neither one is good but if I had to choose I would say a 5D would be better than a 5F.  If you read the description of each a 5D states "beyond the control of the member"  where as a 5F states "within the control of the member".

You start at the bottom of the pay scale.  If you had gone from Cpl to officer while still serving, then yes your pay is protected. The best you are going to get is some time credit toward promotion and maybe your BMQ and some other courses written off.
