I especially liked how the media listed all the celebrities and fans trying to save tookie but strangely no one took the opinions of the familly and friends of his victims. Or the news clip of the lady calling Arnold a killer. I believe the only killer involved was the one going for a dirt nap...
Does this not imply that by having a "visible minority" CF member try recruiting, they will attract more recruits of the same race? Sounds a little clanish to me.
Since when do we want to attract soldiers/sailors/airmen based on their minority standings and not on their genuine desire to...
I would agree to a system that allowed "senior" cadets to go out with their affiliated unit once a year for a famil shoot but what purpose would you need your own weapons vault for units that compromise mostly of children? Maybee renting the movie TAPS this week might put things back into...
If you plan on taking it, dont count on using it. Your course mates might appreciate it though if you offer it as a storage locker for extra kit. Also if you do take it, make sure the base MP's know about it as they dont appreciate "abandoned" type vehicles on base.
We cannot and shouldnot compare Canadian cadets to other countries. The attitude of Canadian civillians is far too ignorant towards any sort of "military" organization simply because they dont know better. Look at the thread about the "missile launchers" stopped in Toronto or the reservist seen...
I will continue to vote conservative until the party proves to me that they are as corrupt as the liberals at which point I guess I will resort to NDP. Its amazing to once again see the election adds from all parties that bombard us with their "promises".
How about a party making this...
The yearly fee was 120$, plus additional costs for weekend outings etc. This particular scout unit only had one "qualified" adult leader who is a shiftworker and could only hold meetings every second week.
Of course the yearly fees couldnt be reduced but to look at an organization such as this...
Considering I wanted to sign up my son for cub scouts and they told me it would be 120$ for every second week, no uniform included, I think they should atleast put out a proposal.
So in an effort to understand this cadetpat better I need to ask some questions. The cadets(specifically army cadets) are looking to approve a "camouflage" type of uniform to be worn on field type exercises. But this uniform will not be provided but rather an option to buy? So unless the cadet...
I hate to say it but that was only because our RSM who was employed seperately at KMNB took it upon himself to hold one and in my opinion they should be mandatory within 12 hours of any incident. It gives everyone a chance to discuss what happened and gets a load off rather than bottling things up.
Just an opinion but perhaps we could look at it this way. One could assume that when a soldier joins the CF they are (for the most part) considered free of the mental stress that is attributed to PTSD with the exception of course being stresses occured prior to joining. No two soldiers are...
My biggest pet peeve is having a recruit doing the head bobs or downright falling asleep in lectures. Yeah some classes are pretty boring but provided you have a good instructor, he/she will state before the class begins that if you get sleepy, stand up at the back of the class. If they don't...
Since no one has found any "documentation" on this, I am of the mind that whoever thought up the idea that the instructor must do pushups with his/her troops, just didn't think it out.
If you are leading PT, by all means get your lazy a** down and pump em off. If its a form of discipline then...
I find it interesting how Mr. Dithers seems to be fighting the issue with more resolve now that an election is looming and yet before it was rarely raised during his meetings with Bush.
Maybee we could get ARMY.CA veteran plates........oh wait never mind, we would have to be honourably discharged from the forum in order to be eligible and Im not sure that applies to many people.
Would it be possible to incorporate a system like ebay has for rating users with a seperate comment block (ie:+ that was a well informed post or -don't try to start flame wars)?
