RCMP to Order 14 New Helos

The RCMP procurement system still goes through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). While each Government department might have some slight internal differences they all fall under the same system.

Government hints at boosting Canada’s military spending

I don't think the public would really care if the CDS resigns, it would be forgotten about the next day.

The vibe shift, end of "wokeness"?

For those that are really curious here is the DWAN link to the policy regarding email signature blocks in DND: https://collaboration-img.forces.mil.ca/sites/DGIMSP/DDIMP/DDIMP%206/IM%20Gp%20Policy%20and%20Standards/ADM(IM)%20and%20Defence%20CIO%20Promulgated/en/IMS_6001-1-4.pdf

    Canada's tanks

Also, would GDLS even bother putting in a bid for a Canadian tank contract, knowing it would be for a small number of tanks and that we would most likely be asking for specific Canadian requirements in the Statement of Works?

Trudeau Popularity - or not (various polling, etc.)

I don't think that the voter turnout has anything to do with support for either the Liberal Party or the NPD. I think it is more of a reflection of Canadian society, we don't care. Maybe it is a case of thinking that outside of the major cities (Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa), your votes don't...

    Promotion to Cpl

The switching from CFAOs to DOADs has got to be one of the worst-coordinated changes. It has been over 10 years and we are still referencing CFAOs, especially for something as important as promotions. I know that organizations are short staffed but we really need to fix this. I was thinking it...

The Unintended Consequences of Diversity Statements

Are you trying to say the LGBTQ have always had the same rights as the majority of Canadians? It was not until 1969 that decriminalized sexual activity between men occurred, meanwhile, it has always been legal for men and women to have sexual activities. It was not until 2003 when Ontario...

    Updated Army Service Dress project

I believe the new army field dress (Canadian Army Combat Ensemble (CCUE)) will have bigger belt loops, but that is to allow the wearing of thicker battle belts. Have not seen any talk about stable belts. The new Canadian Army Service Dress is currently planning on having a Sam Browne for...

For Soldiers at Fort Carson, Food Is Scarce

From my understanding that is how "Combats Online", the new operational clothing contract that Logistics Unicorp was awarded to deliver operational clothing and equipment to CAF members will be. Much like the clothing online system they have for non-operational clothing that we currently use.

Soldier Operational Clothing and Equipment Modernization

Just to clarify what do you mean by CADPAT, as that is just a camouflage pattern? Are you talking about combat uniforms, the new interim uniform in CADPAT (MT)?
